In India, Education is the only tool for eradicating poverty, illiteracy and other social disturbances. Education is not only important for the quality of living but for the overall progress and development of the country. The conventional education system introduced during colonial period emphasizes much on similar set of skills to produce standardized individuals set up to do repetitive work. There is a need for schools that are different from the mainstream manner of teaching and that work around interactive teaching and greater individual attention, encourage learning beyond the academic, invite introspection and emphasize on qualitative rather than quantitative education. As the Telangana social welfare. Residential educations have come up with an initiative to reframe the educational system, this turned as a great opportunity for me to design an outstanding government school with an alternative approach. The focus of the study is to design the school building and hostel block. With a Non-Conventional approach. This study also focuses on Non-Conventional learning spaces in design. This study also addresses the alternative school philosophies, curriculum and recommended few suggestions that would help in reframing the conventional pedagogy and curriculum of the school. The thesis report showcases the detailed design methodology from site selection to final design proposals.en_US
