Abstract: Now days Railway station are the major point of transportation in India and they are catering more than lakh passengers per day at peak load. The crowd in railway station is increasingly day by day and hence it need a change in the design of railway station to tackle the passenger’s requirement as it is increasing. The railway station have to be modernize as the railway station are behave as city icon and also is located at the center of the city so as to connect and should minimize the transportation distance. The ministry of railway have decide to use a world class station as a concept in development of present railway stations.so the statin can be constructed as a world class and also in development of commercial area with integrated urban spaces which will enhance the potential in surrounding areas and help the area in development. The thesis report is based on for proposing a design of railway station in baiyappanahalli, Bengaluru. The station project is proposed to develop by the Indian railways authority for making a third terminal in Bengaluru as a world class station.
