Abstract: Place branding suggests that an area requires both the technology end and the experience end to achieve the positive effect of place branding. Here at Buddh International Circuit at Greater Noida conducted its last race in 2013. Since then the track has been used by speed enthusiasts who get their cars and bikes here and avail the services of the track. Since these people come from different parts of the world it is difficult for them to search for hospitality services nearby. And the closest 5-star hotel is Radisson BLU which is 11km away. And from my literature study I could conclude that tourism acts as one of the major positive attributes for place branding. Hence building a hotel at The Buddh International Circuit is required to provide hospitality services and cater to the guests. My project centres around the Buddh International Circuit. Providing areas inside the hotel for the guests to view the track. Providing art galleries to highlight the history of F1 and also showcasing the cars that won the races in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Logos of sponsors of F1 have also been highlighted in interior architectural elements. To cater to the revenue end services like ballrooms, meeting rooms and restaurants have been provided that can be accessed by the outside public. The project highlights all elements of an F1 car. Providing balance and varied heights add thrill to my project.
