dc.description.abstractThis project aims to understand and developing a seat of economy class of flight for long haul flight journey. Sleeping is one of the common activities during long haul flight journey. Passengers have been complaint that they face problem in seat comfort while sleep. In this Project the main focus on the thigh and leg rest (as headrest and side rest problem was solved in last project) for relaxing or sleeping. The Methodology of the project was Literature Study, Unstructured interview, similar field Study, Posture Study and Pilot Study. And the documentation of the project was done through photographs & Videos. For understanding the problem more deeply pilot study was done and analyze the problem, then field study was done on bus seats (overnight buses). In the posture study of sleeping, we found that turned torso and leg and thigh support was comfortable position for sleeping. In this project, we infuse the leg rest and thigh rest within the seats.en_US
