Abstract: Work from Home lifestyle was not Work from home lifestyle was not thought up at the moment when the pandemic happened. Even though there is nothing abnormal about work from home, but the impact on the lifestyle varied and perception of people ranging from being very excited to very hopeless. The necessity of incorporating lifestyles in policy and planning in the housing sector assumes that traditional variables are no longer sufficient for the prediction of residential preferences because of increased socio-cultural complexity of the society especially with work from home employees. According to various studies lifestyle can be defined as an individual's orientation to the structure of his or her life. The lifestyle change will have ripple effect for both business district as well as residential neighborhoods. This study focuses on the assessment that would be done using the past research and methods used to analyze neighborhood and lifestyle through the surveys done to analyze the impacts due to work from home. The data would be analyzed through SPSS. Independent sample t-tests and one-way analysis of variance were performed to determine the differences according to various variables The case study considered is Keerthi Richmond Villas which is a gated community in Hyderabad. Since, Hyderabad has seen an upward surge in the number of MNCs, tertiary services, making the city a tough one to beat, in terms of IT advancement, it has a considerable number of employees working from home and that too in the selected area as it is near the Hi-tech city. The study gives the impact of Work from Home on the people’s lifestyle and their neighborhood attachment and to implement the 20- min neighborhood lifestyle within the selected gated community as proposal taking reference from the other cities where the concept was successfully implemented.
