The Government of Maharashtra has proposed the project “Tribal Cultural Museum and Research Centre” in Nagpur with the aim of conserving, promoting, and propagating the living culture of Vidarbha (North-Eastern Region of the Indian State of Maharashtra) and particularly those of Gondwana Land. A Tribe consists of a group of people linked together by social, economic or blood relations who live in the same area and share the same language, culture and history. A museum is a building where objects of historical, scientific, or artistic significance are stored and displayed. A Tribal Museum is an institution which houses artefacts depicting lifestyle, history, and culture of various tribes.en_US
