In Madhya Pradesh, India, there is a historical, industrial, and cultural city called Gwalior. There are countless renowned architectural landmarks. Food and market shopping, which are both readily available throughout Gwalior, are most beloved by the locals. Seven various architectural types may be observed at Maharaj Bada, one of the major attractions in the "heart of the city" of Gwalior. Maharaj Bada is also home to a number of small and large marketplaces. However, the area is constantly plagued by noise, congestion, overcrowding, and traffic. The initiative initially focuses on resolving current problems with traffic, crowding, or noise by redirecting vehicle and pedestrian movements before aiming to restore the lost character of place. First, Subhash Market will be renovated using nearby or comparable Gwalior-style buildings as inspiration. The market is mainly a garment market, although it is underdeveloped and neglected. A convenient shopping experience will be provided through market designs that take into account crowd control and pedestrian flow. Second, the design creates a green cultural area in the Gorkhi Complex with an OAT, Cafe, and Food Court for people to congregate, connect, promote cultural events, commemorate holidays, and do many other things. Thirdly, in order to relocate hawkers, a vending zone is being planned in the same cultural area. In order to improve people's quality of life, the whole proposal promotes stopping vehicular traffic in the market, giving pedestrians ample room, creating multifunctional parks and activity spaces, and creating a market for all.en_US
