Abstract: The coffee industry in India faces multifaceted challenges ranging from climate-induced disruptions to economic complexities and environmental concerns. Amidst these challenges lies a pervasive lack of consumer awareness about coffee processing methods and varieties. To address these issues, an integral coffee experience centre is proposed, aiming to redefine India's coffee production landscape. Beyond traditional processing, the centre seeks to curate an immersive narrative around the journey of coffee, blending culture, sustainability, and community engagement. The rationale behind this initiative lies in optimizing production chains, enhancing quality control, and bridging the gap between growers and consumers. Architecturally driven, the centre integrates eco-conscious practices, experiential education, and sustainable design to empower small-scale growers, nurture cultural understanding, and advocate for industry-wide sustainability. The project brief outlines a meticulously curated space that unravels the captivating saga of coffee through innovative structural designs, immersive installations, and interactive elements. From guided tours to extended farm-to-cup experiences, the centre aims to foster profound symbiosis between visitors and the illustrious heritage of coffee in India, forging an enduring architectural legacy.
