Abstract: Air travel has become the most preferred mode of transport in today’s date. Unlike earlier, with advancement in technology, air travel has become more affordable and efficient than ever. A major increase in air travel demand was felt during post pandemic periods. With the increase in preference for air travel, airports have become busier. Over the years, airports have evolved into places that reflect the character and sense of a place of its location. Yet the primary program of an airport is generalised to create an internationally understandable system. Indian aviation market is ranked third largest globally and is growing rapidly. India’s tourism sector is also witnessing rapid growth post pandemic, with both domestic and international travellers relying on air connections to access the country’s diverse cultural and historical sites contributing to Indian economy. Uttar Pradesh, one of India’s most visited states, contributes significantly to this increase, with Agra attracting a large proportion of visitors. In response, a new terminal is proposed in Agra by the government to handle domestic and international passengers. This thesis project intends to create an architectural design proposal for the upcoming terminal, which caters to the requirements of the new terminal. Keywords: Airport Planning, Airside and Landside, Terminal Building, Passenger Navigation
