Abstract: AHFE is a multi-disciplinary, 7th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics 2016 and the Affiliated Conferences, jointly held under one management and one registration, including 23 tracks on various disciplines focused on human factors and Ergonomics. The Keynote Address on Mastering Human Factors in Management and Leadership: Simulation and Optimization of Complex Systems - The Vision of COMTESSA was delivered by Professor Stefan Pickl, PhD, D.Sc. The Plenary session special to mention was the one focused on the presenters from Japan, the Plenary Speech was delivered by Her Imperial Highness Princess Yohko of Mikasa, Japan on “Creating social environment in which the characteristics of each person is respected”, Design for Inclusion: The Japanese Perspective. The IAUD, Japan sponsored the event and will be the host of IAUD 2016 in December at Nagoya, Japan. I presented a paper, co-authored along with Prof. Rachna Khare, on my recently completed research topic, “Creating Inclusive Living Environments in Urban Residences for Indian Elderly”. It was a nice academic experience to witness a multi-disciplinary conference with multiple volumes of Books published by Springer. Our paper is published in Book, Advances in Design for Inclusion, byGiuseppe Di Bucchianico, Pete Kercher, © Springer International Publishing AG, Part of Springer Science+Business Media.
