A smart city is made of up of smart infrastructure and technologies and the first step towards smart thinking is taken with designing a conducive environment for learning. A building design should not end at serving the priority purpose; instead it should have a multipurpose design which incorporates a diversity of functionality and use and interaction spaces. We learn and educate ourselves all through our lives and thus an educational institute should not only cater to children in their formative years but to people of all ages at every stage of their lives. The Naya Raipur Model High School is one such project which looks into the diversification of uses, multipurpose functionality and integrating the community with the building as a whole. Thus the concept and the building design of the school will look into how a building can be used by different users for multiple activities. Through various elements of the design the school will cater to the children during daytime but act as a centre for integration and interaction for the community as a whole. Interactive spaces are physical spaces with interactivity, areas where a conducive environment is created for all.en_US
