Villages which are the true identity of India, whereas the majority of Indian people live in villages but still we haven’t develop our basic – Villages. Patalkot is a remote area in India where traditional herbal practices are performed on a large scale. The herbal practitioners are known as Bhumkas. Patalkot tribals are experts in curing various health disorders by using locally available herbs and trees. Young tribesmen migrate to other places in search of better paying work and consider this knowledge useless. Traditional values should not be lost in the maddening rush of modernization. Economic condition is worst in these areas so people left with no option other than migration, which plays a major role, whereas every other thing is dependent on it, then what’s my role in terms of architecture? The intent of the thesis is to analyse the villager’s problem and to overcome with a solution that can create employment opportunities within the village, as facilitator's role in participatory processes involving people and community in reviving their traditional knowledge. India has many ancient healing traditions but, where do you see India with regards to the global Phytomedicine market? Ayurvedic Village will not only helps but also promote rural tourism, we can motivate herbal healers and other tribesmen of the village to cultivate herbs, but we also successfully implement in situ conservation of herbs, called “reverse integration”.en_US
