The thesis seeks to design the formal and informal retail centre of CBD of new Raipur (new capital of the state of Chhattisgarh). The design mainly involves a user-centric approach for designing the various lost and upcoming new spaces that form an integral part of the retail sector. The concept is to link the past with the future to design a timeless space that does not belong to any particular era of time. The lost spaces of the past have been studied and recreated with the help of biophilic design. While studying the growth pattern from past to today, technology is found to be the key that evolving with time and human life is getting dependent on it every passing day. Hence, technology is a symbol of future development and a social interacting space has been created with its help. The main focus is to combine the nature with technology I.E creating a bridge between the actual earth and virtual earth of humans today. The design is generated by placing social interacting spaces at nodes such that it creates an enticement point in the serial vision of a user.en_US
